Spectra Ventura 150 MPC Watermaker 12 Volt or 24 Volt DC

The Spectra Ventura 150 MPC is engineered for fully automatic operations on small sailboats or yachts. The Ventura 150 operates on 12 volts drawing only 9 amps or 24 volts drawing only 4.5 amps and produces over 6 gallons of fresh water every hour. The compact modular design of the watermaker allows for the unit to be placed in some of the most confined places on boats.

Using the Watermaker

The Ventura 150 MPC watermaker uses the digital MPC 5000 controller from Spectra which makes the operation hassle free. The MPC 5000 gives the user the ability to operate the watermaker with the press of a single button, it also displays useful information: pre-filter condition, flow rate, feed water pressure, total system hours, and water tank status (with optional tank switch).

Most marine reverse osmosis machines have fresh water flush capabilities, the Spectra MPC model watermakers have fresh water flush on demand, fresh water flush timer for every five days, and fresh water flush on shut down. It is very important to purge your watermaker of seawater after every use and five days to keep the watermaker from stagnating and fouling. The Spectra Ventura 150 MPC is also Z ion compatible which can extend your fresh water flush to 30 days.
